SL trendy week
Week crowded of fashion shows for the Italian land of Second Life. It started Tuesday, with the models of Catwalk Angels Events, directed by Raffa Decosta, whom at Haad Rin of Sun Island opened the 2008 season; the shows of this small but fierce agency are always at issue, see the participation of designers still little known to the general public, but very good and of young models but very good and passionate about their work. Raffa Decosta is a Roman girl always been passionate about fashion in real life whom has found in Second Life an opportunity to live her dreams.
This show was the about lingerie and underwear or casual wear for men and drew a good public in land (peak of 57 avatars, with an average of 51 for almost the entire duration of the event). The designers have drafted bold and provocative lingerie, rich of special textures and faded effects, colors and transparencies. The female and male models, despite a considerable lag, run on the catwalk with great ardor, while the host (and stylist) Creante Heron, excited about the new role, drove the show with precision and expertise.
Models for women’s fashion:
Nadia Debruyere for Nirmanakaya Yalin
Miria Moonbeam for Brenda Clellon
Speranza Farella for Jester Farella
Sandra81 Fargis for Evelina Bonetto
Kellykelly Vendetta and Raffa Decosta for Creante Heron
For men’s fashion:
Salvo Waidelich for Dragonebianco Gregan
Freyr Darkstone and Lukas Vanmoer for Nirmanakaya Yalin
New for this kind of event, were presented in a pre-parade a series of tattoos, designed by tattooers Valle Giulia and Zoex Flanagan: explosion of colors and patterns for the first, black inks with elaborate “urban” designs for second.
Models for the tattoos section:
Caskachan Baroque, Yoshimi Yun and William Nakamura for Valle Giulia
Niki Halderman, Jayanirah Jewell and Zoex Flanagan for Zoex Flanagan.
Seen in the audience at least two “celebrities” that are worth mentioning: Deva Hax, famous Italian fashion designer with dozens of shops open throughout SL and recently adviser to the manager of Catwalk Angels Events, Raffa Decosta, and Jennifer Miles, director of the agency and models school Jen School & Services as well as organizing major events, such as the recent Miss JL Fashion held in four nights at Piazza Italia.
But as I said it was a week really full of events and shows in particular the show of Shouted Couture at Valore Italia, where were announced the outfits of some Italian designers as well as a pre-parade of jewels and an interlude devoted to the music, a parade of Odyssey by Jen School & Services at Piazza Italia and finally, Saturday at 24.00, a new show of Shouted Couture whose models were on stage for the events organized for the official opening of Milano Vera, the new project of Gnosis Group Srl of Carlo Biscaretti di Ruffia (aka Basil Coage in Second Life) builded by Seefree Srl (already implemented in the Mole Antonelliana of Torino Vera) and by Doit Srl (creator of the Basilica of Assisi). So really a fashion week, that as always we of Mondivirtuali.it/SLnn.it will try to follow as best as we can with your support and your suggestions.
