There is time until December 31st to participate in the photo contest organized on Koinup.com by Asil Ares and her team of NeoVictoria, a steampunk sim in Second Life dedicated to a role-playing game set in an alternate universe dominated by the Pax Britannica and to the creation of machinimas. To participate just join its group on Koinup.com and post an image of yours (be aware: although NeoVictoria and its "sister sim" Machinima are classified as "mature" by the ToS of Linden La, it will not be admitted pornographic images or otherwise deemed inappropriate to the vision of all) that is connected to the universe of NeoVictoria (to know which you can read here).

You can insert a landscape built in the sim of NeoVictoria or Machinima or retract your or other avatars and use software like Photoshop or Gimp to develop it further, but do not put words or frames. The images (maximum two per avatar) will be posted in the NeoVictoria group on Koinup.com together with a description indicating: the name of your avatar, the name of the sim where you created the image, the month of the year in which you think is best to refer the image (and thus for example: "Lukemary Slade at NeoVictoria Cathedral, for the month of December "or similar).

The total prize money is of 13 thousand lindens (a bit less of 40 euros at the current rate), of which 5 thousand for the winner, 3 thousand for the second best, 2 for the third best, uone thousand for the forth and 250 lindens (about a euro) ranked from fifth to twelfth. Certainly is not to make money that you participate in photographic competitions in Second Life, but for the pleasure of taking pictures even related to specific themes and see if others appreciate your work.
