Luciana Pinazzo sought another interview for Mondivirtuali.it / SLnn.it. It took some time, but she achieved something not easy: to let talk about herself and her work Anubis Hartunian (aka Marinella Galli), one of the most talented designers of the metaverse, so that in 2007 he collaborated with Fanny Douglas (aka Franca Olivieri) for the realisation of costumes for the avatar-actors of "The Odissera - the Musical" (the same Fanny Douglas, along with KlaudeC Korobase, aka Claudio Crocetti, was then among the makers of "Enchanted Rome", another musical "on stage " in Second Life in December 2008). Luciana Pinazzo: Hi Marinella, listen, can you tell me who is Anubis Hartunian and what the character builds in SL real author? Anubis looks like you and if so in what?

Anubis Hartunian: As for work, Anubis is not at all like me in RL. As you know I've always dealt with security. But in Second Life, Anubis takes all my creativity, accuracy in what I do (which can sometimes be positive, but more a pain ...), the stubbornness, the challenges, the desire of colors. Anubis is a dreamer, who had the desire and ability to find new forms, new modes of communication and created her own brand, Anubis Style. But I have also heard the words: "Are you equal to RL".  What makes me smile to myself and I think they have forgotten their glasses!

L.P.: Anubis has a quite different style from that of other designers as well as aesthetic and as a way to communicate with your audience. Tell us a bit '"style Anubis": what is and what is done, what values inspire you, what "muse" you followed to take this "virtual career" in the fashion world in SL?

A.H.: I certainly do not come for the mass models, those in the series that vary only in color. In this respect I am not sure a manager, indeed! Each item that I realize it may be considered unique, because it originates from an emotion, a color, a name, a particular photo, from a state of mind, to be friends! Every dress is a bit 'like a painting: painting is a hobby for me and as each "artist " was not always the same day!

L.P.: You're a friend of my “virtual sister” Mimmi Boa, another example of a character very well developed by a woman full of determination and character who in RL lives not far from you. What has meaning for you the friendship with Mimmi both in RL and SL in the past few months? Her game has influenced you and vice versa, or each one of you lives separately your real and virtual events, while being very friendly?

A.H.: The meeting with Mimmi was an accident, I was teleported by a mutual friend at a meeting! She wasan emerging when I met (that's because you have not seen some photos of her in my first competitions eheheheh… LP), was fortunate to know who lived not far from me! We have brought about this encounter in RL almost immediately and we never left! A beautiful friendship was born, much more important in RL than in Second Life. Let's say that Second Life is a reflection of what we have built out. In RL we have time for us, we find it, invent it as well, while in Second Life, we are each taken from our commitments, on the run, sometimes we can not even talk in IM. But it happen that we meet in the same event, in the same fashion show and then the game is fun.

L.P.: Tell us about the biggest project among those who have followed so far in SL and what would you like in your heart, your most important achievement for the future.

A.H.: Projects there have been many: the first one was to create clothing to support the African Association Mabawa, an NGO working in Rwanda and I am a member of the committee and organize a concert with the then unknown in Second Life M4TM, it was their fist concert! (now the Mode for the masses, a Depache Mode tribute band, is among the best-known bands in the metaverse of Linden Lab and even in RL, if you want to see an interview at the time by Sluub Tv to the band just follow this link: http://video.libero.it/app/play?id=751ba14bb20082d7ca35fb578462a041, LmS). I participated in several contests including winning two designers, one of which, in February 2008, has allowed me to become the "official" fashion designer  of Italy Vera. I designed an entire collection for men and women, day / night, 28 dresses that were distributed free throughout. And then... I made a dress for Miss Virtual World 2008, that is our mutual friend Mimmi Boa, and one for Mister Virtual World 2009. I participated in events organized by Mexi Lane (aka Marina Bellini) for Musei in Comune Roma 2.0, designing clothes for the collection of Caprai laces, for the Futurism and to support the people of Abruzzo after the earthquake (SolidART). And again, I participated in the Maseno Project managed this year by Mimmi always for charity and at the Fashion Challenge. And last but not least, given that it was an innovative idea... OneSoul.

L.P.: You preceded me: tell us better about this joint project with another designer I adore, Mew Denimore?

A.H.: OneSoul is a project born of my idea, that idea is to create a collaboration that brings the designers to work together for a single purpose. It is here that comes into play Mew Denimore excited about this project: we joined immediately, she even proposed to make clothes in which every designer could even work on the texture of each other, and vice versa. This is where all the work starts, the choice of topics on which to carry out the outfit, until we realize who they are and to "exchange" the texture created to allow also another designer to make her outfit on the same basis to have in the end, two models having the same texture yes, but style and achievement in prims totally different. In short, a fun project, challenging, artistic, professional carrying two designers to meet, join, counsel to create an entire collection of unique and original clothes. All this is OneSoul, whose motto is : “From the union of two minds, which gives rise to the magical blend of two personalities, one powerful daughter was born... Collaboration”.

L.P.: What will the future hold for you and there is a wish for our readers who want to do, both as regards the SL and, especially, RL?

A.H.: The future... let's say that Maseno Project anticipated what I have planned a long time. A work that combines the forces of designers, with their talent, their friendship, their professionalism in favor of Mabawa. But when I have time to organize all this? Heeeelp... wanted an organizer! About the whises, maybe it's better that you do it right now…

L.P.: My only wish, for you and our readers, is that after many efforts, but also much suffering, uncertainty, disappointment, can return to the peaceful and who has many good qualities as you can now reach even more of those satisfactions are at the bottom of the spring to move forward and tackle new challenges. Because SL is woman, as friends of Mondivirtuali.it / SLnn.it say, but also in RL women do not joke (despite everything)!
