    Fnaf 7 Scott Cawthon cover

In Summer 2017 he declared to had canceled it, but Scott Cawthon has accustomed us to changes of idea, so when in December Fnaf 6, alias Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria Simulator (Ffps), has been made available on Steam, a few were surprised.

Fnaf 6, a three phases game

Compared to the five previous versions of (Five nights at Freddy’s), the sixth starts with a simple 8-bit screen which allows you to play a minigame whose goal is to throw pizzas to children. Once finished the minigame Scrap Baby appears and soon the real game begins, in which each day consists of three phases.

n the first, in the morning, the player is a new manager, just hired, one of the pizzerias in the Fazbear’s franchising; in the second, in the evening, it must perform a number of tasks under the threat of killers animatronic; in the third, at the end of almost every night, you can choose whether to abandon the animatronics or control them, without being attacked in this case involves the death of the player.

    Multiple finals and tributes

Fnaf 6 has several endings, which can be achieved based on the choices and actions taken in the three different phases of the game. The latest (for now) videogame creation by Scott Cawthon has been welcomed by good critics and after a year has returned to be talked about on the web, because it has inspired Five Nights at Vault 5.

It is a real tribute but also and above all a mod of Fallout: New Vegas, famous action role-playing game developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published in 2010 by Bethesda Softworks which basically gave the opportunity to explore the vault sect of New Vegas, each with its own story.

    Fnaf 7 Scott Cawthon

    Fnaf Movie still delays

Moreover Scott Cawthon has recently announced the porting of Fnaf also on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and the arrival of a version for tablets and smartphones. Cawthon has also reported the umpteenth slip of the release in the theatres (if ever there will be) of the movie inspired by Five nights at Freddy’s.

Delay due to the fact that the last screenplay did not please Scott who reiterated that either a good movie will come out or it will not give its consent to production. If the Hollywood writers will be able to satisfy Cawthon, the film will nevertheless cover only the first three episodes and not the subsequent ones, also specified Scott.

Fnaf 7 is coming together with a new title

Since Scott Cawthon does not seem to be going to retire, next year could also get a game in virtual reality and one in augmented reality, together Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into Madness (Fnaf 7) that will gather a series of ideas that have not found a place in the chapters published so far.

Last but not least, a new “triple A” budget title should be distributed, which, however, has not yet been developed. Sansar Star Wars cover

Here we are: Star Wars, The Last Jedi is finally on the screens of theaters all over the world, and its promotion now embrace also online communities of virtual worlds fans as that of Sansar, the new VR platform of Linden Lab (the Second Life developer) where December 9 opened the first exhibition of Hollywood Art Museum, a “a unique collection of Star Wars production pieces”. Sansar Star Wars exhibition

Star Wars on Sansar, a geek dream

This virtual exhibition includes the very first drawings made for the film franchise and never-before-seen production art from the original trilogy by Lucasfilm alum as Joe Johnston, Ralph McQuarrie, Phil Tippett, Drew Struzan, Colin Cantwell and more.

Museum curator, director Greg Aronowitz, introduced personally the Star Wars collection at the opening, giving the chance to those present to meet him, albeit virtually. I mean, like a geek’s dream come true.

Touring the exhibition you feel really to be inside a museum but someone didn’t like it too much, re-opening the debate, never completely finished, whether virtual worlds ought to be intended as perfect reproductions of reality or if wouldn’t be more exciting to take fully advantage of the possibilities offered by technology so to create “your world, your immagination” to remember the original Second Life’s claim. Sansar Star Wars exhibition

      Virtual worlds are too real?

People so far shown to appreciate more the first choice, differently from what has happened for video games where in addition to real-like plots and setings were successful even totally fantastic environments (just think about World of Warcraft, rather than video games devoted to the stories of Middle Earth).

Yet more than a voice argued in favour of greater immagination at least when you go to recreate locations tied to fantastic content: wouldn’t it have been more engaging look a the Star Wars art works on Tatooine or on Lando’s Cloud City, or inside Death Star, instead of a museum lounge (even if themed as a Star Wars movie set)?

Movie franchisee Transformers is one of the longest running, since the first movie of the series (the animation movie Transformers: the Animated Movie) debuted in 1986, just two years after the debut of the cartoon produced by Japanese Toei Animation and Tokyo Movie ShinSha and the American Sunbow.

        China loves Transformers

Over the years the Transformers (whose fifth movie, The Last Knight, will be released in Italian theatres on June, 22 and in American theatres on June, 23, while two further movies are scheduled in 2018 and in 2019) grossed over 3,7 billion dollars at box office all over the world, developing a fans’ community particularly strong in China.

It is therefore not by chance if DMG entertainment and Hasbro decided to launch now amusement centers dedicated to the Transformers, able to offer an “highly-immersive, interactive” digital simulation experiences based on the Transformers’ universe both in virtual reality (VR) both in augmented reality (AR).

The first of these centers (the sector of virtual amusement parks seems to have great potentialities in China for some years) should open in Shanghai later this summer, then the centers will expand to other China cities regularly over the next five years. Transformers VR

Virtual reality centers and live shows

The Transformers used for digital simulations will have the shape of the “Generation One”, still the most loved by fans of the whole world, but with a photorealistic rendering so to increase the digital experience immersivity. As reports a press release you will fight the evil Decepticons on Cybertron alongside Optimus Prime or have a driving experience with Bumblebee.

In the same time DMG, together S2BN, is also working on a live show, Transformers Live, a cross between an action-adventure spectacle, a theme park attraction and a theatrical show, featuring shape-shifting robots, aerial stunts and large-scale special effects. Fnaf movie 2017 cover

Scott Cawthon is good as his word: indie horror video game Five Nights at Freddy’s (Fnaf) creator promised some news about the movie from almost two years Warner Bros would have had to begin to produce based on his creation by end of january and january 31 he posted on Stream to point out how in 2016 there were “several delays and roadblocks, some involving problems within the movie industry as a whole” adding that as a result “the movie is back at square one”.

News and doubts about Fnaf the movie

Fnaf movie animatronic 2016This means that we don’t see a trailer anytime soon and that maybe Warner Bros won’t be the producer and Gil Kenan (already director of Poltergeist movie remake) won’t direct it, but at least development is ongoing so far.

What’s more: Scott, who at the beginning seemed not interested in being involved in the movie the creative process, now stated he want that “this movie to be something that I’m excited for the fanbase to see”.

Some specialized sites wonder nevertheless if the movie will release at all, since in these cases even recently (Uncharted, which would have had to go out in the theatres this year while has again been postponed and perhaps cancelled) it’s not unusual for Hollywood to continue to postpone a movie production up to the point not to be interested anymore to produce it, especially when it comes to titles drawn up by video games.

Movie from video games, good record

Gil Kenan Fnaf movie 2016Yet some movies drawn by videogames recently have shown to be able to gross well, like Warcraft, which worlwide grossed about 434 million dollars (the 17th best box office in 2016), The Angry Birds Movie, which worth about 350 million dollars, or Assassin’s Creed, which debuted a few days befor Christmas and has exceed 209 million dollars despite the strong competition of Rogue One, which debuted 5 days befor and has already grossed over a billion dollar.

So at the end fans hope that the delay can allow Hollywood to find the right creative mix to produce a movie which preserves the original atmosphere of Fnaf series (the movie should concern the first three titles) and still be able please a worlwide audice. Because at the end, guys, are the money that makes the world go round, especially if you talk with Hollywood producers.
