According to Mexi Lane (aka Marina Bellini), among the first to have reported it on social networks, the new sim dof Crestwick Island, in Second Life, is “a true movie set that already contains a story”. Hard not to agree with Marina (who dedicated toCrestwik Island a nice set on Flickr), since its creators, two well-known photographers of the Linden Lab‘s virtual world (Ciphertazi Wandin, aka Cipherscape and Isa Messioptra), worked eight months paying the utmost attention making every object and texture with their own hands. You can see the result: at Crestwick Island, a little working town located in a beautiful bay, the streets are lined up with a coffee shop, an art gallery, shops and companies. Downtown is surrounded by parks, wetlands and other surprises, including a giant hill that supports a center for scientific research abandoned, which overlooks the town. For all the visitors some advice: if our little gallery makes you want to go and visit directly Crestwick Island don’t hesitate, push the teleport button below and get ready to take your photos, which you can also post on the appropriate Flickr’s group.
