Do you like to write but have never had the opportunity to test yourself? Do you dream of fantastic worlds where set your stories? Do you know what they are virtual worlds and avatars? If you answered yes to all three questions hurry up, because it has just been launched the new edition of the competition reserved to “avatarian” texts of Edizioni Volando, that is, a literary competition which is open to all those who own an avatar in Second Life.
In the first case the narrative text should have a length between 3 and 10 folders (a folder is equivalent to 1,500 characters), in the second, each poem must contain a maximum of 10 poems. In any case it is not strict time limits but guidelines: Elena herself remembers that, as always, it will also accept texts written on note cards and not counting the beats, as long as you keep in mind that these are works to be printed and then spread within the Second Life platform can not have the size of a real book (is possible and even recommended a visit to the Edizioni Volando headquarters, where you can take to inspect the other books that have been printed by the virtual publishing).
Once your story or your collection of poetic verses are ready, you can send it to indra (at) dadoweb.it or pass it through a note card directly to 3Elena “in world” (ie inside Second Life). Deadline for submission of materials for the contest is November 30 next, with prize giving that would presumably follow before Christmas. Good luck to all and if you want to keep in touch with the latest news about writings and virtual worlds, follow the site but also our account on Twitter and our fanpage on Facebook (but remember: Mondivirtuali is even on Flickr, on Scoop.it and on Paper.li).
