The Loneliness of Being is an artistic installation of Ian Pahute, artist presents in Second Life since October 2006, whom in his profile write: “My aspiration as an artist is to create virtual spaces where, like in the ancient, sacred hidden and secret places in the real world, we can stop and just be…”.
The Loneliness of Being is a bare land, is a small island in the sea, above which a cloud formed by multicolored letters gravity in continuous change and becoming, captured from the Internet and that will always reflect the now, the hic et nunc. Some see nothing more than foggy letters. Others see hidden meaning and personal insight. The best thing, rather than try to explain it, is that you come and contemplate yourself.
