Svarga, historic island of Second Life

Svarga, historic island of Second Life

SvargaIn Slavic mythology Svarga is the Heaven, residence of the god of the Sun, Svarog. In Second Life it is an “historic” island, built in 2006 (and nothing has been added since), formed by the collapsed caldera of a very old volcano. Since in 2006 sculpted and flexible prims were not available in Second Life, all content is original, built with basic “primitives” of Linden Lab‘s virtual worlds. You can have a guided tour of Svarga riding a bee, but we suggest you to spend some hours so to discover all the many Svarga’s secrets. Please note that in 2010 Linden Lab itself bought the island after it went briefly offline.
